| Al-Hajj Jalal Uddin Ahmad dedicated his life to education. In his early life as a teacher, he established Kamal Ataturk High School in Daganbhuyan, Bangladesh. Subsequently he moved to Feni and became Head Master of Feni High School, where he taught for almost 40 years. He was awarded numerous national awards for his dedication to, and achievements in, education. To this day thousands of his students are in established positions both in Bangladesh and overseas.
In retirement, Al-Hajj Jalal Uddin Ahmad spent his limited financial resources to educate talented students, particularly those whose educational options were limited by their means. The Ahad Family Education Fund is inspired by the life of Al-Hajj Jalal Uddin Ahmad, and is dedicated to his memory and continuing his legacy of universal and accessible education. |
